What is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness is a way of paying attention to the present moment. Although the approach originated in the ancient world it is increasingly being used in today's environment to help people reduce stress, increase concentration and improve communication.

Mindfulness training is being introduced in the workplace by many companies across multiple business sectors, including banking, insurance and information technology  as well as the public and not-for-profit sectors.

When used regularly and effectively mindfulness techniques will:
